Complex Systems & AI
Complex products do not fail because teams lack screens. They fail when users cannot turn system intelligence into action. My work in this space focuses on AI learning products, offline-first education, enterprise SaaS, operational tools, dashboards, design systems, and workflows that have to survive real-world constraints.
At Neustack Studio, I shipped the initial product suite and brand system for an AI-native agency. I design tools and workflows that integrate AI assistance into professional operations — and I understand both the capability and the reliability risks.
I built and maintain the Kolibri Design System — 100+ components, 1:1 developer parity, reducing handoff time by ~60%. I understand the organisational dynamics of design systems work, not just the component taxonomy.
The Lion Hospitality Platform spans POS, KDS, WIMS, CRM, and a staff interface — each with different users, different workflows, and shared data surfaces. I led product and technology across the full ecosystem. I know what it means to design for operations where a mistake costs money in real time.
My work on Kolibri — a learning platform deployed across 200+ countries in low-bandwidth and offline contexts — required rethinking every interaction from a constraint-first perspective. I am comfortable designing for systems where the network, the device, and the user's context are all unreliable.
Working on a suite of edtech products within a complex, interconnected ecosystem - Kolibri Learning Platform, Studio, Data Platform and more.
I am most useful in product environments where the hard problem is not the interface — it is the system behind it. Open to conversation about infrastructure-heavy product design, internal tooling, and AI-adjacent roles.
